Front Row Wrestling returns to it’s base of operations at the American Legion on 94 Eastern Ave in Rochester, NH on Friday, March 14th with a start time of 8pm. On that card…
Double Main Event:
#1: All Star Title Bout Rematch
Champion: “Bad Karma” Christian Angers
Vs.
Sethoran (w/ Vanity Vixen)
-What is going on with Christian Angers? The FRW kingpin for months represented the All Star Title with classic wrestling bouts, downing a succession of challengers via completely clean wins. The last two defenses have been marred by questionable tactics, however. On Jan. 25th in Rochester, he and Sethoran went to a double DQ when Vanity Vixen was “accidentally” hit TWICE by the champion, the second one triggering a ringside brawl between Sethoran & Angers. His following defense vs. Tommy Mack in Kingston ended in Disqualification when Angers seemed to intentionally throw Mack directly onto the second outside the ring referee.
Both contenders feel personally slighted. Tommy Mack has been guaranteed a title shot in Leominster in April. Sethoran is especially enraged seeing as his match not only ended inconclusively, but with his manager injured as well, and will be looking to take a large piece of hide out of Angers on the 14th, along with his FRW belt.
Main Event #2: Rematch/No DQ Grudge match:
Panther Martin -v- Shane Sharp
Last month in Kingston, Sharp eked out another victory on Martin. Martin is LIVID over this…and his mounting frustration and anger have been boiling over for months. Sensing the issue between the two is coming to a head, FRW officials have arranged for a no disqualification match between the two.
While Shane Sharp has less experience than his much larger foe, he does have recent experience winning matches of this nature, having pulled off a win in a brutal match w/ Maverick Wild just before the turn of the year in Rochester. Martin, deeply troubled by what he feels is a lack of progress in his career as a singles, will be looking to make a loud and bold statement that he’s a man to be reckoned with in FRW…and sees this match as the perfect forum for it.
Granite State Title Bout:
Steven Marriott (C) -v- "Heart Attack" Tommy Mack (in a JD Poll ruining match)
-based on his recent performance with Christian Angers in his luck of the draw title bout, Mack gets a shot at FRW's secondary gold...the Granite State Title! Is this the night Tommy Mack puts it all in place and begins on the path of destiny...or can Marriott use stealth and trickery to hang on against the surging Tommy Mack?
"Fabulous" Johnny Vegas & Justin Shape (former tag champions)
-v-
Tony Spencer and Dan Thunder
-Vegas and Shape had all sorts of problems keeping it together in Kingston, but manager Steven Marriott has gotten them to attempt to patch up the team on 3/14 against Tony Spencer & Dan Thunder. Spencer and Thunder are the two newest recruits out of the FRW gym. As a tag team, they "boast" what some jokingly refer to as "1/2" a win in a handicapp match vs. Panther Martin. Easy going Dan Thunder (while partner Spencer rolled his eyes) has said, "Hey dude...1/2 a win is better than no win".
All joking aside...the rookie duo face an enormous uphill battle in this one...no matter how much dissention is going on in the opposing team.
Other Bouts
Feature Bout: Tag Team Title Bout
Chunky but Funky -v- the Pleasures of Pain
Woman’s Match:
Vanity Vixen -v- the returning Mistress Belmont
Guthrie O'dwyer -v- Frankie Arion
Antonio Thomas -v- Matt Spectro
Tickets are $12 advanced for Front Row, $13 at the door and $11 General Admission in advance, $12 at the door. Advanced tickets available at the American Legion (603) 332-9765 or can be reserved via email at FRWrestling@yahoo.com or by calling (978) 660-9384. Card subject to change.
