I know that this is an FRW board, but I feel I need to post this.
Chris Benoit, his wife and son were found dead in their home sometime today.
My heart goes out both familes.

Go ahead and say it, my friend. This whole situation...the murder/suicide that it apparently is...this may be the most bizzare, sick and tragic thing to ever happen in pro wrestling...and that covers some territory. Scott C. I have been a fan of professional wrestling since the days of Haystacks Calhoun. I have watched, in awe, at the lengths these athletes (on every level of pro wrestling, including FRW) go to please their fans. I wept for Owen Hart, Brian Pillman, and Eddie Guerrero, to name a few. Last night, upon hearing of Chris Benoit’s passing, along with his wife and son, I was shocked. This morning I read that authorities have called this tragedy a murder-suicide. As wrestling fans, we will be asking ourselves “How can this be possible?” I don’t believe that any of us will ever know what really happened. Some of us will be angry if what has been reported is confirmed. Most of us will be in disbelief.
Words cannot describe how I, along with most wrestling fans, am feeling this morning. All we can do is try to move on from this tragedy (this will be very hard). My continued thoughts and prayers go out to all those involved.

My prayers and thoughts also will go out to the Benoit family. We all enjoy wrestling and the parts we play...but, we don't know what goes on in the private lives of the performers... This is truly a sad day and one we must reflect on. Remember Chris Benoit and others that have gone before him. Pray for thier families and friends. Never forget those who have gone before us.

There is much truth to this, Johnny. I'm still in a mild state of shock over this. My thoughts and prayers definitely go out to the Benoit family. And I will NEVER forget those who have gone before, regardless of how long that list gets. Unfortunately, it's getting way too long...
