Hello ladies and gents, and welcome to the December edition of the FRW unsanctioned yet highly accurate contention ratings. Brought to you by Holstein Dairy Cows.
Here are the latest rankings:
1. Christian Angers (All Star Champion)
2. Shane Sharpe (Granite State Champion)
3. Vampire Setheron
4. Maverick Wild
5. Panther Martin
6. Dr. Heresy
7. Master Flesh
8. Don Chesterfield
9. Steve Marriott
10. Antonio Thomas
The big news is Vampire Setheron’s move into the number three spot. Seth has been on a winning streak lately, with all kinds of victories over seasoned veterans, wet behind the ear rookies, and sons of virgins. It is almost certain that the championship committee will bequeath Seth a title shot next month in Rochester.
Also of note is Maverick Wild’s unprecedented move down to number four. This fall in the ratings would seem unthinkable two months ago. His recent loss to Shane Sharpe in a Death Match may have caused Mr. Wild to rethink his career and it looks like he (with Master Flesh) may be concentrating on tag team matches in the future. Look out Sonny and DJ!
At number six, Dr. Reginald Heresy is slowly making his way up in the rankings, moving under the radar. While often playing the clown, don’t let this cunning ring savvy technician fool you. He is a legitimate contender to be reckoned with.
There are two new faces in the rankings: With a victory over Rancho Cucamonga native Tony Spencer, Steve Marriott has moved back onto the charts at number nine. And newcomer Antonio (the Promise) Thomas has moved in at number ten. Will Thomas get a title shot against Christian Angers? Many fans throughout New Hampshire (mostly in the North Western, Colebrook/Groveton area) have been clamoring for such a match.
Moving out of the top ten this month are "Heart Attack" Tommy Mack, who is still searching for a new tag team partner, and Scriptshire, PA native Tommaso Ciampa, who seems to have disappeared after his defeat last month.
