Front Row Wrestling returns to Rindge, NH at the Hidden Hills/Four Star Catering banquet hall on Saturday, Feb. 24th with a 7:30 pm bell time! Matches already signed...
Main Event for the FRW Championship;
Kid Krazy (Champion)(w. Dr. Everett Payne) -v- Dr. Reginald Heresy
-Neither of these two would win a popularity contest. Front Row Wrestling officials have decreed that the FRW title is about who is the best wrestler, NOT who the most popular. As such, the ever-thingyy Kid Krazy has been slated to make his first title defense against one of FRW’s most successful yet most hated wrestlers, Dr. Reginald Heresy.
Despite the near equal loathing fans seem to have for both men, they actually have rather different wrestling styles and views on the rules. Kid Krazy uses speed and in his words an “…outright not giving a !@#$“ about the rules in a blitzkrieg like attack on his opponents. Heresy is more in the classic mold of the methodical, thinking wrestler who is more likely to use the bend the rules to his advantage rather than outright break them. This probably is an advantage to Heresy, as FRW has also decreed that as a in an effort to add legitimacy and prestige to the Gold belt all FRW title bouts shall have two referees. Things could get very interesting in this one.
Return Bout; Tag title match up:
Matt and Bryan Logan (champions) -v- Panther Martin & Tommy Mack
-Former champions Martin & Mack are gunning for their titles back! This powerful tag team was upended on Nov. 17th for the title by top area tag team Matt and Bryan Logan. The Logans are a quick, innovative tag team who have held regional titles all over the East Coast and have arrogantly referred to the FRW tag team titles as just another bauble in their collection. The proud former champions feel they are on a quest to legitimize not only themselves but the titles themselves by beating the highly touted champions. Will the under rated underdogs power and determination be enough to counteract the speed and cunning of the Logans?
Return grudge "Strap Match";
Maverick Wild -v- Master Flesh
-Maverick Wild lost the FRW championship on Nov. 17th after defending it twice in one day. In the first title defense, he beat Master Flesh with a quick roll up following a very fast paced match. In a fit of petulant anger, Flesh attacked Wild after the bout and planted his knee several times into the concrete floor. Many, including Wild, feel this directly led to his loss of the FRW title later in the night in a no do “street fight” with Kid Crazy (Krazy beat Wild when he wrapped Wild up in a figure four leg lock which due to the leg injury, Wild could not escape or turn; Krazy then beat a bloody Wild senseless with a chain, leading to the pinfall). Wild is out for revenge and will attempt to get it in a strap match.
Anyone familiar with Front Row Wrestling knows these two men have been involved in a war dating back over a year. They have fought in Street Fights, Stretcher Matches and now will continue this unabated battle in Rindge with a Strap Match. Wild is a tough 17 year plus veteran who has been in these situations before. Master Flesh is weird beyond comparison however, and his general appearance alone would let one know that he is definitely no stranger to having his skin seared with blistering leather. When asked about the match, Flesh responded bizarrely, “I am looking forward to both doling out and receiving the friendly acid like sting of the leather strap…my state is near euphoric in anticipation.”
This one promises to get ugly.
Granite State Title Bout:
"Iron American" Tim Walker -v- "Bad Karma" Christian Angers (w/ Steven Marriott)
-Solid, hardworking and strong as a ox best describe the Granite State Champion. A man of few words, Walker has the respect of the fans he performs in front of, as his work ethic is second to none and the average fan can associate and appreciate how his hard work pays off in the ring. So when he notes how hard “Bad Karma” Christian Angers has worked to improve himself, people should take notice. Said Walker, “The kid is d**n good. I just wish he would drop that irritating manager of his”.
Unfortunately, the “…irritating” Steven Marriott does still manage Angers. Angers has spent years honing his arsenal of scientific moves to a razor edge…a process Marriott has taken credit for. Marriott has said that “Under my guidance, he (Angers) has become the new guy to watch in FRW. Walker better watch out, because with all the time I’ve put in with Christian, there is no way that he can’t beat that 9 to 5 microwave burrito eating working class bum Walker and put gold back in the Marriot corporation’s bank account”.
Other bouts include…
"Fabulous" Johnny Vegas -v- the return to wrestling of Gary "the Torch" Kudalis
