Front Row Wrestling returns to the Zotto Gymnasium at 130 Broad Street in Claremont, NH on Saturday, August 9th with a 7:30 start time.
No DQ match:
Sethoran -v- Christian Angers
-Back on March 14th in Rochester, NH, Sethoran was disqualified in a match against Angers. Earlier in the night, Angers had viciously attacked Sethoran’s manager Vanity Vixen. During the subsequent match, Sethoran went wild and went so far as to strike an official in attempt to get at Angers. For these actions, Sethoran was stripped of all ranking as a contender. Since then, Sethoran has regained his ranking via several wins, and winning this year’s UE-2. Back at the top, he now wants to settle his unresolved issue with Angers.
Angers recently lost the All Star championship to Shane Sharp, and last weekend lost his subsequent rematch in Rochester, NH. He needs to get back on track, but the no DQ stipulation in this match probably doesn’t work in favor of this highly touted technical wrestler. Still…Anger’s track record is second to none over the last year and is more than smart enough to take advantage of any mistake Sethoran may make in a fit of rage.
All Star title Bout:
Master Flesh (Challenger) -v- Shane Sharp (Champion)
-The Pleasures of Pain recently added a third member (Sledge) to their roster. FRW has decided to allow the team to defend the title with any combination of the three men, thus freeing Master Flesh up for a shot at the All Star title in Claremont.
Shane Sharp has been phenomenal in the last year plus since his FRW debut…but his ascent to the ultimate prize has not been without bumps along the way. Still relatively new to wrestling, it is amazing at the progress he’s made…but can he handle the unexpected? We’ll certainly find out on August 9th, as his opponent lives and breathes on being offbeat. Flesh gives new meaning to the words unorthodox and bizarre, and offers champion Shane Sharp a rather unique challenge. Violent, cunning and determined-Flesh offers a combination that may ultimately prove him to be the ultimate dark horse.
All Star Tag Team Title Bout:
Alex Arion & Tony Star (Challengers)
V
The Pleasures of Pain (Maverick Wild & Sledge-Champions)
-July 21st, 2008; Rochester, NH. During a 6 man tag team match, Maverick Wild (no stranger to violent incidents) in attempting to prevent Tony Star from tagging out of the match, viciously booted Star in the head. Star was rendered unconscious, stunning the crowd. Luckily, Star had made the tag at the point of contact and Justin Shape came in to cover for him…but the damage was done. Shape fended of Wild while Vanity Vixen tended to the unresponsive Star who was out for a few very scary minutes. Said Star, “I remember suplexing Master Flesh…then nothing until I woke up on the floor”.
Amazingly, Tony Star actually got back into the match, but in his weakened state fell victim to a Master Flesh leg drop from the top rope. Said an unrepentant Wild of the incident, “It’s a tough life and a this is a tough sport. He got up…he’ll get over it”.
Star, however, has a burning desire to strike back at Wild…mainly to prove he can take a beating and keep coming. Alex Arion, who saw the incident and is no stranger to some of Wild’s more brutal tactics, was disgusted with Wild’s attitude and offered to join Star in a tag team bout against All Star Tag Team champions the Pleasures of Pain.
Star and Arion will be looking at a new dynamic in the already dangerous POP lineup, however. New member Sledge stands 6’1” and weighs in at a mobile 273 muscle packed pounds. EVERYTHING he does hurts. With directions from Wild, this monster may help the Pleasures of Pain complete the job they started in Rochester on Tony Star, regardless of the back up of Arion.
Other Bouts:
Woman’s match:
Vanity Vixen -v- Sinful Sara Blackheart
“Tough Talk” w/ Tony Spencer will feature an interview with Christian Angers. Also, Spencer will team as Panther Martin’s new “life coach” will be taking on Chunky but Funky
…plus a Granite State title bout, Johnny Vegas w/ new manager Marshal McNeil, Scott Reed, Lynch 2.0 and more! Tickets are: Front Row $12 reserved, $14 at the door. General Admission: $11 reserved, $13 at the door. Tickets can be reserved by calling 978-660-9384 or by emailing a request to FRWrestling@yahoo.com. Don’t miss this one…card subject to change.
