Front Row Wrestling returns to the home base at the American Legion (93 Eastern Ave) in Rochester, NH on Friday, January 25th with an 8pm start time. Signed for that card so far…
Main Event: All Star Title Bout; 1 fall, 60 minute time limit…
Sethoran (w/ Vanity Vixen, Challenger) -v- “Bad Karma” Christian Angers (Champion)
-The highly touted and extremely talented Christian Angers has vowed to take on all comers, regardless of whether or not the contender is cheered or booed by the fans. He may regret that vow, as now he faces off against Sethoran.
Sethoran is a 11 year veteran of the wrestling wars, who has been at times labeled as a “brides maid”; always seeming to come just shy of breaking out with the big win. He’s been on a tear for nearly a year, mowing down all competition before him, however. Wrestling with a renewed vigor, he hopes to be the one to knock Angers off his perch and grab the silver belt for himself.
Match Change:
Former Tag Team Champions
"Fabulous" Johnny Vegas & Justin Shape (w/ Steven Marriott)
vs.
"Heart Attack" Tommy Mack & "the Promise" Antonio Thomas
Due to a rough back sprain sustained in a minor auto accident earlier today, we regret to inform you that Dr. Reginald Heresy will not be able to wrestle on 1/24. He should be back in action in a few weeks. To replace the match however...we present to you former champions Johnny Vegas & Justin Shape taking on the powerhouse duo of "Heart Attack" Tommy Mack and "the Promise" Antonio Thomas! Outpowered but never overmatched mentaly, the cagey duo of Vegas & Shape are going to be hard pressed in this last minute matchup!
Granite State Title Bout:
Steven Marriott (challenger) -v- Shane Sharp (champion)
-Things are in turmoil within camp Marriott. His two most prominent charges (Johnny Vegas & Justin Shape) just lost the All Star Tag titles to Chunky But Funky in Rochester a few months back, and failed to regain them in the rematch on Dec.8th in Kingston, NH. With things looking bleak, Marriott is taking it upon himself to fill the corporate coffers with gold-in the form of the Granite State Title Belt.
At first glance on paper, the match up looks rather one sided in the favor of the talented Shane Sharp. Sharp recently downed Maverick Wild in a violent, intense street fight. Last month in Kingston, he beat Panther Martin in a title defense. Problem is…Sharp had his ribs mashed in by Wild over the summer. The two raged on in a feud that saw Wild continually target Sharp’s injured ribs. Then, after rolling Martin up for a quick 3 count, Martin attacked Sharp with a brutal overhead slam right on those same injured ribs. Sharp remains injured…and that may be the edge Marriott needs. Marriott is an under rated wrestler, and will be sure to zero in on the fighting champion’s rib cage. Sharp is brave and tough, but how much more pain can he take?
6 man tag team bout:
The Pleasures of Pain (Master Flesh and Maverick Wild) & Guthrie O’Dwyer (w/ Joey Eastman)
-v-
Chunky but Funky (DJ Barron & “Struttin’ Sonny) and the returning Psycho
-This may be the oddest pairing of six individuals ever assembled. Master Flesh; pure sadomasochist. Maverick Wild; bitter, surly veteran who’s main enjoyment seems to derive from the sound of bones breaking; combined with fellow Joey Eastman protégé’ Guthrie O’dwyer. Opposing them: dance floor heros DJ Barron and Sonny Goodspeed and the ever bizarre Psycho. Frankly…this match defies description…so I’m not even going to try.
Matt Spectro -v- Tommy Liddell (opponent change)
-Hard hitting and surly veteran Matt Spectro squares off against the young powerhouse Tommy Liddell. Spectro has been on a bit of a drought as far as wins go in the last several months...but this ultra strong rookie might not be the match to get him back on track. When these two bulls collide, something is going to give.
Special "Tauron Knox" rules Handicap match!
"JD's favorite" Panther Martin-v-Tony Spencer & Dan Thunder
-What the hell is up with the big Panther? Normaly one of FRW's most likeable guys, something has done more than got under his skin...one could say a bug has lodged itself firmly in his rectum! Last month in Kingston following a hard fought loss to Granite State Champion Shane Sharp, Martin attacked Sharp after the match, doing further damage to his already cracked ribs.
While at an obvious disadvantage in a two on one contest, he faces two talented but extremely green rookies in Tony Spencer & Dan Thunder. The "Tauron Knox" rules do give them some advantages, however...
-all three men are allowed in the ring at the same time.
-both men may use all legal offensive moves, simultaneously if need be.
-double pins and submissions by Spencer & Thunder are allowed.
When asked if he feels his hands will be full during this match, Martin looked at the interviewer right in the eye, cast an uncharachteristic sadistic look at him and said, "d**n straight I'll have my hands full. My left hand will be full with Dan Thunder's heart and my right hand will be full with Tony Spencer's spine...right after I rip them out of their broken bodies"!
SPECIAL MATCH JUST ADDED!
"The Duke of Elegance" Don Chesterfield (with self medicating Dr. Reginald Heresy)
vs.
the Debut of "Big Guns" Frankie Arion!
-this is one that FRW wanted to wait on...but due to the injury if Dr. Heresy forcing a few card changes, we felt the fans deserved a little compensation for the last minute shuffle. So, we present to you what has the potential to be a show stealing match...Top contender for the All Star Title Don Chesterfield taking on in his FRW debut matchup "Big Guns" Frankie Arion! This is sweet science combined with a massive ego against pure speed and unbelievable determination. We wanted to wait on giving our fans a match of this caliber, because frankly...this one could headline any card!
